[Glazed] A piping plover bird, whose diet includes crustaceans.
Spent a little too long trying to decide if I was going to draw an actual crustacean. Opted for another bird–I’ve been enjoying these a lot!
The piping plover is endangered. Didn’t know much about him until I was investigating a bird to draw. He’s so cute! Apparently part of their population in the Great Lakes area had a record year this year. Let’s go local volunteers!!
